A little background info
David Jon Walker was born in Daytona Beach, FL and grew up Nashville, TN. He attained a BFA in studio art from Tennessee State University in 2004. Upon graduation, he began a screenprinting business, Rhealistic Design, servicing and providing small businesses and groups with promotional t-shirts and wearables. In 2006, he expanded the business to include a wide variety of promotional items and began producing graphic design as promotional solutions. Producing artwork for tees allowed him to hone his skillsets using the Adobe graphic software, becoming skilled in illustrator and photoshop. These skillsets led to a contract with with his alma mater, designing promotional and marketing materials for their athletic department. In 2007, the contract was expanded to include the media relations department of the university producing internal online and printed newsletters and other marketing material.
After a couple years producing graphics for Tennessee State University, David decided to further his education in order to provide himself with the possibility of greater opportunities. In 2008, he began new studies the University of Memphis, where he was a candidate for a masters of fine art in graphic design, graduating May of 2011. David maintains his business practice while teaching graphic design on the collegiate level, producing tshirts, ads, websites and other design items.
